STAFF PROFILE: ALICE HATHAWAY
As registrar and executive assistant for RTS Global, Alice has worked at RTS for 16+ years. She currently assists Steve Wallace, who has oversight of RTS Global and RTS New York City, and she registers all RTS students (Global & residential) for distance courses. She thinks she has the best job at RTS, since she gets to know so many students all over the institution, and loves encouraging them, building relationships with them, and praying for them.

She grew up in southern Illinois, where her dad was a coal miner and farmer (so she is truly a ‘coal miner’s daughter’). She attended Southern Illinois University before marrying Vaughn, now a retired pastor. They will soon celebrate their 50th anniversary. They have six children and 17 grandchildren, who live all over the country.

A favorite pastime is reading, and she is such an avid reader that she sometimes fears she has an addiction to books! A longtime pianist, she presently plays for two churches in Charlotte every Sunday (her own church, an OPC congregation, and an ARP church), as well as chapel services at RTS and other events.

Paul Bonney (RTS Global student)
Paul's daughter Cameron was mentioned in an article about post traumatic stress syndrome in the Wall Street Journal. This article shows some of the stressful times our students go through while they are attending seminary, caring for their family and in this case, pastoring a church. Click here to read the article titled "Hospitals Help Families Cope: The Psychological Toll of a Child's Illness."
