"When Heaven Came Down" came as an encouragement from a colleague at RTS to write a song about the Incarnation," says Milton. "That one song led to a wonderful time of reflecting and composing 14 other new songs for Advent and Christmas. The album reflects the moods of Christmas, seeks to convey the glorious truths of Christmas, and, finally, prays for a sense of awe and wonder of Almighty God coming down from heaven to His own creation, in the throne room of a cattle shed. From simple ballads to orchestral movements to English madrigals, the album seeks to draw the listener in to the holy splendor of the season that hits our hearts more than any other.
